Captains Cove: our final night at anchor on the northward journey. We arrived here around 2 PM to find it full of logging industry. They've got barges, log booms, helicopters and chainsaws going constantly. This used to be such a lovely slice of heaven just three years ago. Judging from the mature and immature clearcut surrounding the area it looks like they've been added for a while. It just didn't happen to be here when I fell here before. So be it. Will be on our way in the morning I'm probably not come back again. Update: Jeff rowed out to take photos of our reported "waterfall" and found that it was just rapids that look like a waterfall from a distance. Oh well. Still pretty cool the way the rapids change directions. We found we have exactly enough white sugar left to make another batch of pineapple upside down cake tonight. This time with pineapple.
